Workplace evacuation exercises are designed to test the ability of your staff and occupants to effectively and efficiently evacuate in response to an emergency.
This training is designed for all general staff within any workplace. It provides an overview and awareness of workplace emergencies, building emergency systems and procedures, and firefighting equipment. Evacuation plans and staff roles and responsibilities are very important. To comply with the Occupational, Health Safety Act and Australian Standards 1851 and 3745, training should be scheduled for staff every 12 months.
Course Overview: A practical assessment of the Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) and the awareness of the general staff. The exercise includes a risk assessment of the premises, briefing and debriefing session. Participation by ECO members in an evacuation is part of the practical assessment. Session also includes a written report on the effectiveness of the exercise
